UEFA Women’s
Champions League

Populous | London | PITCH

As lead designer on the UEFA Women’s Champions League rebranding pitch for Populous, I was responsible for translating the spirit of European women’s football into a bold, future-facing identity.

Working within a tight competition timeline, I developed four distinct creative directions: two for the current UEFA Women’s Champions League and two exploring its evolution into the European Women’s Champions League.

My role covered concept development, visual identity, art direction and the creation of a flexible design system. Each direction explored how heritage and recognition could coexist with a more ambitious and progressive expression of the women’s game.

The focus was on creating identities with a strong emotional presence while remaining clear, adaptable and scalable across different platforms and touchpoints.

Ultimately, the work aimed to build a system capable of energising fans, bringing stakeholders together and giving the competition a distinctive voice for its next chapter.
